REMEMBERING MORRIS

Rev. Morris E. Hintzman dedicated his life to serving the poor and homeless, first as a United Methodist minister, and then with Metropolitan Ministries for over four decades.

His unwavering commitment to those in need has left an indelible mark on our community. His legacy is not just one of service but of profound hope and compassionate love. Morris’s work has been a beacon of light for countless individuals and families who have faced the darkest times. His actions and words have brought solace and support to those who needed it most and inspired so many of us to do our part in caring for our most vulnerable neighbors.

Morris’s fund will provide support for seniors in need of food, rent/utility assistance, counseling, and referrals for other resources. Baby boomers are projected to increase exponentially in the coming decades, so we see this as a long-term need. Any funds that are not utilized within the year will be placed with Metropolitan Ministries Foundation. Hope lives forever through your support. Thank you!
