Rally around families hit by historic back-to-back Hurricanes who are in dire need of help.
Helene and Milton just wreaked record-level damage with a direct hit to several communities in the Tampa Bay area and across Florida. The destruction of both hurricanes is devastating, and yet, light is breaking through the darkness, thanks to a strong caring community and compassion from across the country.
Tampa Bay’s Metropolitan Ministries continues to do what we have done for 52 years: alleviate suffering, promote dignity, and instill self-sufficiency for people at risk or experiencing homelessness. We are providing meals, shelter, and financial assistance as well as crisis navigation, spiritual guidance, and trauma care to those in desperate need.
We anticipate that with so many families who have lost wages, homes, or everything and will be displaced for months, the journey to recovery will be elongated. Thank you for being HOPE by providing for immediate needs now and helping to restore their lives!
