Janet Pantaleo serves as a Donor Advisor for the Metropolitan Ministries Foundation. In her role she develops relationships in our community on behalf of the Ministries.
Janet started her relationship with Metropolitan Ministries as a volunteer in 1994 when she first moved to Tampa with her husband Tom and their five children. While working for Time Warner Communications cable TV advertising (Now Spectrum), Janet orchestrated 10 fundraisers for the benefit of MM. Each event brought benefit to not only MM but the Performing Arts Center (Now Straz Center) and LAMPLighters. She joined the staff in 2006. While on staff, Janet continued to volunteer bringing a Toastmasters International club to campus in Hillsborough, which just celebrated a 10-year anniversary, started the Metro Choir and developed “SpeakUp” a public speaking and leadership program for the teens on campus. In 2018 Janet retired from her role as Vice President of Advancement and Major Gifts only to return in 2021 to the organization she loves as Donor Advisor for the Foundation.
Janet who is originally from Minnesota, considers herself a Floridian and enjoys her children, grandchildren, her dog and Pickleball in her free time.
